Well...the outing was on Wednesday but it took me this long to update...hehe...rough week...sorry...
Urgh! And I SO totally regret leaving my digital camera with my parents. I obviously didn't capture anything, and it's just so sad! It was so exciting and exhilirating! Wohoo!
Had hiphop at 4pm in school, and it's not fair because the Intro people get to go to the O School, which I heard is incredibly awesome! Man, maybe I should've screwed up the previous lessons :P hehekz...but no...passion comes first for me. And yes, for your info, Adv Beg is killing me! *Sobx* I really really can't follow up to anything! I keep messing up the footing, I can't coordinate my feet right, I kept stepping on this poor girl next to me! Urgh! I'm freaked out. I'm totally freaked out. The test is like 3 weeks or so away and I'm a mess. Shit!!
But then there was this malay girl whom I was talking to when I was on the way to the MRT station (can't remember her name...sorry!) and yeah, I asked her what's the deal if I pass the test. Well, you'd get promoted to the performing team, which is simple just AWESOME because there's no way a person can dance and not perform, right? But if I don't make it, I'll remain in the Adv Beg class, which is just fine with me. I'd rather perfect my isolation and stuff than jump into something new and screw up big time. Oh, did I mention I have to prepare a choreography for the test? DIE!!!
I'm so stressed, I'm panicking! Aaaaaahhhh!!!
Okay, okay...so then I had to meet Sharon at City Hall MRT, but I'm like an hour early, so I walked ALL the way to Carrefour to buy snacks for the BBQ! Yipes! Bought 2 bags of Ruffles and 2 bag of marshmallows...YUM!
Well, I got lost. Mistook East Coast with Marina Bay. But hey, it's along the same highway right? Can you blame me if I've always been there by car? Hmph! So yes, grumpy from being stupid, frustrated from not being able to catch the dance steps...I wasn't in a good mood to begin with.
Finally reached East Coast and I couldn't be more happy!
The fire just started when I arrived, which was already quite late, and then ate and stuff...then we played truth or dare...hahakz...oh my god, it was HILARIOUS! Well, Sharon had to do a dare, and it was to dance hiphop to this family underneath the shelter. She went over and danced until something familiar caught my eye.
What the hell?!
I went over, and yes, i found my family. Whee! Hahakz...I knew they were camping at east coast but I didn't know they'd be NEXT to our BBQ pit! Hahakz...SO FUNNY!
When the guys came back from watching soccer at McDonalds, we were set to go for the night cycle. Well, all I can say is that it's one HELL of an experience for me! From East Coast to Changi Village. It's about a 3-hour journey there, then watched the first half of soccer (Germany vs Poland...GO BALLACK!) before we cycled back, which is another 3 hours. I never thought I'd be able to do something as crazy as this, but I did! From 12mn to 6am! WOW! There were obstacles along the way of course. Nothing is smooth in life.
The funny thing is that, it's when we're overcoming all these obstacles that brought us closer to each other. People whom I hardly even talk to, like Justin, Lester, Immelda, ZiYi, GuoZheng...I now feel like we've bonded. Surprisingly, it's when everyone was sleeping at McDonalds that I sort of realised it. I love how suddenly we're all so comfortable, like we weren't from different classes at all! It's just amazing, you know?
Even without lecturers around, I've learnt a lot from this outing. It may be just a small group of 14 people, barely half of one class, but it makes a BIG difference. I was reading Nicholas' blog and I guess there's a lot to thank here. But firstly, I learnt the true meaning of "Win together, lose together, teammates". We've really learnt how to look after one another. I'll have to admit I was blown away when Daryl actually went all the way to fetch Lester, Immelda and GuoZheng alone. It's like, you hardly know these people for about 2 months or so but yet you care so much. Humanity is GORGEOUS in every way possible.
I wanted to just HUG Ammanda for informing us about the dogs. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Seriously, it was incredibly AWESOME of her! And to ZiYi...THANK YOU for watching over us. We couldn't have done it without you! Cheers to Jazreel, Angela, ChaoYan, KaiTee for creating the LIFE! It was SO fun just sitting down and talking to you guys! THANK YOU for being the support beam to hold us all together! THANK YOU Nicholas for being there and just being with us all! THANK YOU Justin for all the water you kept helping to refill...hehe...THANK YOU Lester for the really cute handphone map kind of thing you got there! THANK YOU GuoZheng for the GREAT trip back to East Coast (although you suddenly disappeared). THANK YOU Immelda for the AWESOME effort you put into the trip...don't give up! THANK YOU Daryl for that ghost story (although you scared the jeepers out of me!) and for being there by my side! And THANK YOU Syaiful for waking me up at MacDonalds (although I had to carry your heavy digicam in my pocket and cycle) and for everything else that you did!
