Whoa! It's week 6 of school already? It's really fast! There are so many deadlines to catch up with by next week! Yikes! Well, I guess there'll be absolutely no rest for any of us till Friday, where we can finally take a deep breath and embrace the holidays--at least the week after E-Learning.
So, anyway, it's been an interesting week for me...okay, not so interesting, but hey, in DCMD, everyday's a whole new experience!
On
Monday...
There's OC...like usual...working on ways on how to improve our presentation skills...I'm thinking of skipping next Monday's OC because I feel I have better things to do...So yeah, there was this part of the lesson where we had to try to sell a product and I got 6.5 out of 10. I expected a 5 'cause I didn't know what to say, really. I was never a born salesperson to begin with.

Then there's DET where again there are more whacky stuff to just make your brain pump and think...it's getting more interesting though...hahakz...and IDS....well...there's nothing for me to say there really...my pay hadn't roll in and I was pissed about it!
Then we go to
Tuesday...
The ONLY best thing about Tuesdays is the part where we have a long break in between CRS and IDS...so we made full use of that time to temporarily de-stress ourselves with FOOD! Yes, glorious food! Went to foodcourt 3 and P-A-R-T-Y!

.:: Nicholas, Being Nicholas, Naturally Loves Taking Photos ::.

.:: Me, Audrey and Sharon ::.

.:: I was Bored so I Took This Pic ::.
Note to Self: Remember to do up my layout for the website next Tuesday, save the whole folder, zip it and send it to my e-mail before E-Learning Week...
If you're still lost (for some reason), the day that comes next is
Wednesday...
Wohoo!! Yes, you know the drill...my ABSOLUTE favourite day of the entire week! It beats Sunday anytime! Okay, so I still dread having to wake up at 7 in the morning to go to school, but it's after class which I look forward to!

.:: My Fish Made Using Adobe Illustrator CS2 ::.
Well, what else can I say? Hiphop was THE BOMB! Okay, so I'm a bit biased to say that but I enjoyed myself! It's true what they say though, some people are only interested in the beginnings and then they sort of fall out thereafter, but I'm not complaining! The lesser people, the better, so you can really get the attention of the instructor and the dance captain and you can really find out where you went wrong or what mistakes you're making. So, yeah, it was fun learning new choreography and all, and I feel like a connection to the crew already. Clara's really nice (she's the dance captain by the way) and she pointed out at the end of the lesson that I kept stepping out with my left foot instead of my right. Whoops! But she's really nice about it...cool!
Then met up with Sue at Jurong East Interchange and went to JSB together. Funny, it's still the place we always go to just to hang and chill out.

.:: In the RTT Room ::.
Thursday...I always feel that Thursday is the day to relax a bit, because there's DWS, where you just shut yourself in a room, sit down with your classmates, forget about everything else, focus on one thing, and just let yourself go.

.:: In the Drawing Studio ::.

.:: Me and Audrey ::.
And then let's wipe our brows when we FINALLY get to
Friday...
Yes! VDS is STILL as tiring and stressful as ever! We were given some time to work on our bookmarks but we didn't get away with the tutorial bit. Hahakz...We got back our first assignment for HCD and for all that hardwork and sweat and emotional turmoil (exaggerated version of course) I received a proudly-earnt "A"! Wohoo! Hahakz...
We were released early, but my group stayed back to discuss further about out project. And then I stayed on to try and work more on my bookmark...it's now 75% done! Yay!!
For
Saturday...
Well, let's just say I started off work really well!
What's not to like? I'm working 12 to 9, which, in my opinion is the best shift ever! Okay, so I was walking to work and I was walking past KFC and I was squinting against the glare of the sun but I saw a rider ahead, but I wasn't sure who it was. Then he got nearer and I finally saw who it was. He was smiling at me, as in really cheerful kind of smile, not those polite ones the other riders usually give me when they pass by just to show they acknowledge you. And those dimples...yes, I'm still a sucker for them as painful as it is to admit. He was saying something to me but I couldn't quite catch it, firstly because I had my earphones on and the music was really loud, and secondly because he was moving. And hey, I grinned back. Hahakz...phew! The strain barrier's been knocked down a bit at least, I'm thankful for that. And they were having a pretend fight just now at work and it was funny!
But the BEST of all...I got to work with SUE! Yay!!
Finished closing damn early--again...hahakz...but then got caught by the duty manager and he told us we were meant to start closing only at 9...hahakz...but it's going to go in one ear and come out the next I guess...it's what happens to teenagers nowadays...stubborn...hahakz...
