Whoa! What a week it has been!!! I was so glad when Friday rolled by and all 'cause I was so exhausted! I felt like a punctured tyre! There are so many assignments to do and all, plus work...I'm surprised I haven't collapsed or anything! So yes, here's my weekly update (more so for me to keep track than for you to know...).
MondayWent to school, as usual, and first period was Oral Communication. It's quite an okay class, quite interesting and funny! Yeah, it's like speech and drama class to me. You can just let yourself lose in there! We had to do a group discussion on our presentation that's going to be held after e-learning week, and my group, comprising of me, Zi Hui, Nicholas, Vincent and Hui Xiang (what a combo, eh? 2 girls and 3 guys...hahakz...), chose the theme on Disney and the Evolution on the Animations...hahakz...blur...we don't know where to begin, but we roughly had the skeleton done. The funny bit is after that, when we had to pick one person in the group and he/she had to try and convince the lecturer why he/she deserve to be Miss/Mr SP! hahakz...imagine how hilarious it was! DET as usual was confusing so I spaced out...and then there's IDS where we learned HTML again...*yawn*...After that, supposedly there was no lecture, but the lecturer asked us to stay back to duplicate 1500 copies of the SMIT yearbook...*groan*...No choice, so had to help out but I managed to get out of there by 5.30, then had to rush to work, and I was late. Furthermore, I was doing closing that night (the horror!!) and I was all over the place! I think Sue dropped by at night (I can't quite remember...did you drop by, Sue?) and told me she couldn't work on Friday and wanted me to replace her...how could I resist?
TuesdayA day to breathe I guess. There's CRS, which is not so bad, since we had to watch a DVD, which is really interesting! Hahakz...I can still remember the quote the speaker said about an ad on Calvin Klein's jeans! And then it's IDS all the way, which is really boring (okay, so maybe it's just me) because we were learning how to use Dreamweaver and I wasn't interested. Seriously, if a module doesn't appeal to me, I just can't be bothered about it! No work today. Thank god!
WednesdayProbably one of the great days of the week! Field trip!! Yes, 2nd week and we're being whisked to the Singapore Tyler Print Institute (STPI) for research and studies! Whee! It was really exciting to learn about how printing really works and frankly I didn't know that they printed a few pieces of the same art work and number them until the lady told us. We didn't have any other classes after that, so we were free to go. Some of them decided to head down to the NAFA Graduation Exhibition while the rest of us went back to school. I met Sue at Dover because she wanted to collect her handphone which she won in an MTV contest. How lucky! I'm sooooo jealous! We ate at Pizza Hut (LOL!) and tried out the spaghetti, and Sue broke the glass! hahakz...walau! Her phone nice sia! Then from Dhoby Ghaut we went down to Orchard because she needed to collect her brother's passport from his girlfriend who was working at Paragon...walked around for a bit and then Sue had to go because she had cheerleading practice (Oh my God! I NEVER thought I'd EVER put Sue and Cheerleading in a sentence!)...hahakz...

ThursdayFirst lesson is DET and already my brain was turned to mush! Urgh! I just can't understand the freaking module! So then had Drawing Studio after that where we had to sketch more still life...not my best point but I guess I'll just have to keep practising! It's a really important module and I really hafta ace it! The lecturer said she really liked the sketch I made of my hand but I just need more tones and shading...hahakz...so proud of myself! 2 hours of drawing till my hand was cramp was worth it then! Arrived late for work again but not so bad because I was doing aux/cut and I had Maika and Hafiz helping me out. It was quite okay, was a little lost because of the new promotion and stuff!
FridayThe last day of the week! And everybody's like already half dead, so yeah. Lessons felt like free-to-roam sessions! For VDS, we had to combine with the other class because their lecturer was absent and they were having the same module as us. There were two speakers who came into class, one of them briefed us about the bookmark competition (sounds so secondary school, right?) and the other was the DCMD Head who was talking to us about our course...And for HCD, the lecturer's sort of jinxed with computers, so we ended up doing one-on-one discussion sessions on our ideas on what we were going to work on for our project. Work was SUPER busy! I was so stressed, I felt like just collapsing and crying. Luckily there was Weng Ho who helped out or I'd REALLY break down. By the end of it all, I could hardly lift my eyelids! Hafiz said I looked drunk (but how should I know? I've not been drunk before!). Then our poor fella there was whisked off to Bukit Timah and SP just to get garlic bread. No wait, I'm more to pity here *coughs*.
SaturdayYAY! FINALLY!!! A day to just totally RELAX!! Woke up and realised I was late. I had to meet Zi Hui at Jurong East MRT because we were going to the NAFA Exhibition together. Got lost...we walked a whole round of SMU and then realised the campus was just in front of Bugis. Shit the map! It was interesting, the people were really creative and I was sort of inspired! Then went back to Bugis and hung out at Starbucks to watch the Levi's Free To Move Dance Competition finals...got the best front row seat, although it's at the SIDE of the stage and not the front. But at least can see the stage and that's pretty much enough for me! Daniel Ong smiled at me! Hahakz...The competition...Wow!! Mind-blowing!! Totally rocking!! By the way, please excuse my bad photography...

The last performance I watched was the Yeabah one and then I just zipped off 'cause it was already quite late...the initial plan was to wait for the results, but...I'll get to know the results from him then...i think you can just make out his cap in the last pic...hahakz...
