Heh...October? That was the last time I logged in? D.A.M.N...Been slacking on this blog, but then again, my priorities didn't include updating this at all, I'm serious! It's way too much work keeping this alive!
So yeah, I think I really need to change my layout, so that's gonna be done soon. Don't know when, yeah, but soon. School just started last monday, but that doesn't mean I was sitting at home and shaking my legs during my vacation. I've been freakin' busy, with SD (School of Design) Camps and Stomp The Floor. I went for a total of 3 camps. The first one is the SD 'bonding' camp, the second one is the SD 'GL' camp, and the third one is the actual SD Freshmen Orientation camp, which I didn't really complete.
It was such a waste though, because I spent so much time during the first two camps and in the end I only went for a while during the first day of camp, came back on the second night for the nightwalk and then went home on the third day. URGH.
So yeah, the reason why I didn't complete the camp was because of Stomp The Floor, which is on the Friday, 7th April and Saturday, 8th April. We (Shabooya) went for the heats, and then got to finals! Haha...we really didn't expect it because there were so many awesome teams, but when they announced our names, we were like jumping and screaming! Haha..

Stomp The Floor '07 Finalshttp://shabooya.buzznet.com/user/video/play/210380/
So yeah, then I went back on Saturday night to school to help them with the nightwalk. I was totally exhausted and all! URGH! The camp was okay I guess, considering I missed so much.
Okay, so I didn't help out much with the Freshmen Orientation Programme but I did perform for School of Design and School of Business...
No time now but I'll update more stuff soon...hopefully...
Peace out!

It's so time to dust the cobwebs from this blog...heh...sheesh...it's been so damn hectic and now I'm sick...DAMNIT! And I have like 5 assignments to hand in this week...(i think...) The only thing that keeps me sane is listening to songs. Other than that, I'm going bonkers trying to come up with ideas for the crowbar thing (which by the way is in like what, 6 months?)...I'm slacking...I know...
So anyway....Flaunt It! is long pass due...and SHABOOYA won first! Woohoo!! That's the whole highlight of my dancing "career". Haha...but now everyone's sorta like busy with assignments and exams and boyfriends we're hardly together to dance anymore...sigh...and I think I'm really putting extra weight on my feet from all that fast food junk I've been eating. Urgh...I NEEDA DANCE!
So anyway...I'm so stoked about Ashley Tisdale's new album!! I'm so gonna go buy it!!

Heh...now in school...supposedly having IDS (Interactive Design Studio) but I can't really be bothered. I haven't bothered about this module for quite some time now...heh...all that matters to me is the assignments...
There'll always be books for reference :D
So anyway...just a shout out to all the wonderful people from hiphop...
Man...I was hit with a bad case of migraine yesterday...during dance practice some more.
SHEESH!
Don't really know how I got it but it feels like someone dropped a ton of bricks on the right side of my head. THROBBING!! It hurt like hell...and I couldn't really do anything about it. At first it wasn't so bad so I just sat at a corner and tried watching the formations and all...But then I dosed off...and my head began hammering. GOD!! It was so painful!!
So I just went to the back of the room and just slept there till it was time to break my fast...
And then I was a bit better to join back the class...
And I'm really thankful to a lot of people who had been there for me, taking care of me so well!
To Hid and Amalina...thanks a lot for caring and everything! For asking me if I'm okay...waking me up when it was time to eat...asking me if I wanted anything to eat and all...
To Cat and Valerie...thank you so much girls for your outmost concern and compassion! Thanks for asking me if I'm okay...asking if I needed anything...and being there!
To William...you're the best! Thanks for bringing the food up for me and talking to me to make me feel better! Thanks SO much for your very nice Adidas jacket when I was cold! You're such a sweet guy!
Thanks to Hanafi...you've got such a nice heart! Who'd knew? Haha...thanks for sitting there...trying to make me feel better...making me smile despite how I was in tears...And I'd never forget how you actually shouted "Khai! Yok buke yok!!"...so jovial and cheerful I was smiling even though I was asleep!
Thanks to Shidah for giving me a mini head massage (although it was more of trying to get my hair right) and caring for me! Also thanks to Janet who asked me if I'm okay...
Thanks to everyone else who understood and cared! You guys are the best!!
Muax!

Okay...don't want to let a certain MINAH get restless, so I'll give her an update :P
Sorry Sue...it's not the Terengganu update that you're expecting (I don't get it! I've told you everything from A to Z sei!) because I still haven't gotten the pictures...
So my precious little girl, I'll give you other things to nose about in my life, okay?
Serious? (LOL!)
Okay...
So yeah...After the Terengganu trip...the next day we had to go back to school. Most of them went back for this logo thing but I went back to submit my logo design...I was actually planning to print it in school but the printer chose that moment to crash. GREAT...Now what are we gonna do? Okay, so we told our lecturer and she told us that we could hand it in on Monday (or was it? I can't remember what day it was...)
The story now is I have to lug home an irritating mounting board (which, by the way thank you Syaiful for bringing it for me)...
So Sunday (was it a Sunday? Again...I can't remember...) SiuPing, ZiHui, Syaiful and I headed down to Bugis to go print our stuff. It was so troublesome la...we went to Bras Basah but the shops were closed...then we walked to NAFA there....THANKFULLY there's this printing shop...So yadda yadda yadda we printed our work...fast forward...then we came upon the 06 Biennale (forgive the spelling because I can't pronounce it either) and we went in to take a look around...

.:: Room Full of Art ::.
It really gets me wondering. Initially I thought it was real objects spraypainted white or something, but then it's actually objects made from ceramics and then thrown everywhere around the room. Imagine the time and effort to put this thing up? (Hmm...and my mum keeps nagging at me to clean my room...I should show her this picture...) Oh...and while we were walking back to Bugis Junction, we saw this group of three punks--as in real punks...like rock kinda punks...--and there was this guy who was wearing a kilt (is that how you spell it?) or whaddahell it looked like a skirt! And then there was this guy who had his hair spiked up so high and so sharp...I swear if a lizard falls on top of his head, it would be dead. Sheesh! People nowadays...
So then Monday!!
Whoa....one SAD story...
I went to school to mount my logo and return my cameras and stuff. We mounted for SiuPing but we weren't able to print out her write-up. Damn! We ran all around to look for a printer that could work and it never occured to us to use the BizIT library...oh dear....Okay...so then went to print...went to submit...went to return cameras...then lingered around in school...OH! Before that...there's a sad story...
I was holding on to my mp3 and the cable in one hand...and then looking down from the third level because there were students who were doing the SP Experience or something la...those secondary school students...Then don't know how...don't know WHY...my mp3 slipped out of my hand...And the rest...too tragic to be told...
So okay...put that aside...don't want to be mourning over it...
Easy come easy go...
Then don't know how it happened, we all decided to go bowling...at Jurong Superbowl somemore...So it was me, ZiHui, Syaiful, Daryl, Vincent and SiuPing. I was never good at bowling...I'm more a pool person...so yeah...

.:: Daryl's Turkey...What a Pro! ::.

.:: Nicholas and His Run-and-Bowl Technique ::.
So then...last last Sunday...which if I'm not mistaken was the 10th of September...I woke up early to go watch my dad play soccer with a bunch of guys from Lot1 pizza hut. We won 3-2! YAY!! Hahakz...well then my mum has this Healthy Lifestyle thing at East Coast so we had to go there. It rained halfway but luckily we were under one of those shady hut things. And then I had to meet the people from hiphop to go support Clara at the esplanade. She's participating in the Overdrive (yes, the Wade Robson one) and she's now in the semi-finals! Whee!! Congrats!
So all our screaming paid off!!

.:: On Overdrive! ::.
My camera skills were horrible or maybe my camera just didn't have a fast enough shutter speed so everything I took turned out blurry! Yikes! And yeah....Daniel was participating as well! Whee!! I didn't stay for the 2nd half of the competition because it was so late already...
And then again we went bowling today. The very very first plan was to do a class BBQ...but there were no pits available (well...except armpits maybe?). So okay, we decided to go ice skating instead. As it turned out the rink closed at 5.30 for ice hockey training at 6. Sheesh! Then yadda yadda yadda...we decided to go bowling...yet again. Haha...yes, at Jurong Superbowl some more...

.:: Blue, Yellow, Blue, Yellow...Eh? Why got Black? ::.

.:: Nic and Me! ::.

.:: Nic, Me and Audrey! ::.

.:: Vivienne, Andrea, Marvin, Syaiful, Me, Daryl, Audrey, Stefany ad Nic! ::.

.:: SP's Next Bowling Team (?) ::.
Blogger's doing some maintanence or something so I'm having difficulties uploading my pics...

Okay, so I know I'm supposed to be finishing up my assignment (which is super important at the moment because I can't afford to fail) but hey, a girl needs some time to herself. The weeks had just flown by and here I am now almost at the end of my very first semester...wow!
But even though I may not have time to update this thing, my only archive would be my camera and all the pictures I took as days go by. So what I'm going to do now is dig up the photos one by one and see what had happened in my life...

.:: The Big Groove 2006 ::.

.:: Just Warmin' Up ::.
Oh yes! The Big Groove 2006 at the Singapore Expo on the 29th July! I don't think I can ever forget about that day...it was tiring, exhilirating and ultimately the best drive I've ever felt! The atmosphere was just full of...HIPHOP! I didn't know we were going to set a Singapore Record for the most number of people dancing to the same routine in sync! So us SP Hiphop people went for the whole thing...and Daniel (our instructor) was actually part of it all! There were three schools...O School (YEAH BABY!), n.r.a (whatever, whatever) and LADC who came up with the routine and we all had to learn it. And then there were performances as well! You can go to
http://www.oschool.com.sg and check out the awesome trailer! Wohoo!!
Okay, so what's next?

.:: Cake Inspection Time! ::.
Haha...Ms SherLin bought a really delicious chocolate cake for all of us and we each got our own candles. We celebrated her birthday a few weeks back...so she decided she wanted to celebrate all our birthdays at once...awwww...so sweet!!

.:: Lovely Chocolate! ::.

.:: One For Me And One For Nic ::.
2nd August 2006 (National Day Observance Ceremony):
After all the sweat and hours of training and practising...I've made my very first dance performance with the rest of the peeps from hiphop!! Haha...I had to buy a white shirt just for the performance...and I ripped the side of it...oh dear...and we weren't allowed to wear specs during our performance so I was basically squinting really hard when I walk, and I was trying really hard not to squint during the performance, so I think I sort of stared straight ahead, like I want to kill you that kind...hehe...

.:: Oh Yeah! ::.

.:: Urgh...Look So Weird! ::.

.:: I Accidentally Whacked Hanafi Before This Shot ::.

.:: Shake To The Right And Shake To The Left ::.
THANK YOU ZIHUI for taking the pics...it was really cool of you!!

What I've Been Looking For
(High School Musical Soundtrack)It's hard to believe
That I couldn't see
You were always there beside me
Thought I was alone
With no one to hold
But you were always there beside me
This feeling's like no other
I want you to know
I've never had someone that knows me like you do
The way you do
And I've never had someone as good for me as you
No one like you
So lonely before I finally found
What I've been looking for...Okay, so I only have enough time to summarise through everything, but mainly, I juz wanna post some pictures up at the moment. Too tired to type out everything and I've forgotten lots of stuff already, so I'll just use what's left in my noodle.
It was Racial Harmony Day last friday, and we were being very secondary school. Yes, about 7 or 8 of us were dressed in tradisional costume. Three cheers for national spirit! It was really fun though...

.:: Syaiful tying the samping for Nic...so CUTE! ::.

.:: Nic, ZiHui, Me and Audrey ::.

.:: Me and Nic ::.

.:: From the back: Syaiful, Nic, Audrey, ZiHui, Me, Stefany, SiuPing and Andrea ::.

.:: Girl Power! (okay...lame caption...) ::.

.:: Me and ZiHui ::.

.:: Another Group Shot ::.
Hehe....well then I had the audition for Singamania with Nic and Sharon at 5.30. Haha...they were practising and all while I sort of listened and tried to help out. Man, I was so darn nervous la...scared later I open my mouth and then nothing comes out of it...haha...
But you know what? Daryl, Syaiful and ZiHao actually went to support us! They were allowed into the audition room--all of them. I was already in pain from wearing my mum's heels (it was the only shoe that was covered) and I had to like hold on to Nic for support at times. Sheesh! Now I have a total of 3 blisters, 3 plasters...in 1 foot. So anyway...I was so touched la...I mean, we're not any pro singers or anything and yet they stayed back just for us!
OMG...I TOTALLY LOVE YOU GUYS MAN! MUAX!
And although neither of us got in...it was really fun! Wonderful experience!

Is it week 12 already? I'm not even sure...this updating once a week thing is getting a bit tedious, so I'm updating this as I go. But well...this week has been fun and really exciting. It whizzed by so fast I didn't even realise it's Saturday today (well as I'm typing this, technically it's 1 am on Sunday morning...)
Of all the days this week...my favourites would be Tuesday, Thursday and Friday...Hehe...
Well on Tuesday, we had a mini birthday celebration for our CRS lecturer...She's really nice and cheerful and bubbly. She's hip and has this really cool sense of style...haha...and she teaches wicked English...like debates and stuff...

.:: Delicious cake!! ::.

.:: DCMD/1A/02 ::.
And then Thursday...the BEST part about that day would be DWS. I love DWS because the moment I set my charcoal/chalk/pencil onto paper, the rest of the world just blanks out. Just sitting there and concentrating on one thing can be pretty relaxing at times. Okay, so it does get me a bit annoyed when I don't get the angles or lines right but I didn't say it was going to be easy... Well, this week, we were doing portrait sketching. We had Nicholas and Marvin as our first model. Wohoo! I drew Nic...

.:: Nicholas (mind you, that wasn't how he posed) ::.

.:: Sketch done in charcoal ::.
Then we had SiuPing and Sharon to do the next round. We were supposed to use colours...and I was the only one who used anything BUT the original colours I see...I actually didn't quite get what it was meant by sketching in colourm so I did something more...er...impressionistic. But since I'm no pro, it didn't turn out really well...looked sort of...odd.
Friday...well...is more like a free-and-easy day. Hahakz...we had a bit of a problem deciding where to go to have our lunch. Foodcourt 5 and 6 were crowded, and then guess what? The guys decided to eat at The Haven. Crazy! After seeing it was rather...er...out of my budget (and knowing it wasn't halal), ZiHui, Nicholas, Syaiful and I headed over to foodcourt 3 to eat. Hahakz...
Oh...I was bored, so I drew a picture of Paul Twohill...hehe
